This year’s fun dog show was basked in sunshine, although it was also the hottest day of the year so far. So, a well done and thank you to all the dogs who braved the heat.

It was another successful show with lots of competition in each round. There were some gorgeous puppies to be seen and some very neat tricks, including the retrieval of dropped house keys!

Alongside our traditional classes we had the agility and retrieve challenges. Clearly there are some very well trained dogs in the local area, as demonstrated by some flawless retrieves and a top time of only 21 seconds around the agility course.

Congratulations to Pilot for winning Best in Show, and both Petra and Misty who excelled at the Retrieve and Agility challenges.

A special thanks must go out to our two wonderful judges; Lynette and Tisha, without whom the event could not have happened.

The event managed to raise almost £400 towards maintaining the Gratton, so a big thank you from all the Trustees.
