Over the last few days trustees have spent time preparing and installing two new benches at the northern end of the boardwalk. The spot catches the morning sun and affords a charming vista of the river.

The spot is very sheltered, and you feel immersed into the wildlife as you sit the watching the water flow by.

Our thanks to the trustees who put in the time and effort to wheelbarrow a tonne of both gravel and wood chips from opposite ends of the Gratton, laying the foundations for the benches.

Another project ticked off for the year that we hope will bring pleasure for our local community for many years to come.
