Fun had by all at the Jingle & Mingle

Saturday’s Jingle & Mingle at the Victoria Hall was a roaring success. Local resident, Lisa Faye Broadhead, singing teacher, vocal coach and piano teacher, led proceedings from the stage and had great success involving the audience. Approximately 100 local residents, young and old, came together to sing Christmas carols.

The hall was adorned with lights Christmas trees and decorations for the event; and it looked great, Raffle tickets were on sale for a variety of donated prizes, and the entire book of raffle tickets was sold! There were 18 lucky winners on the night. In addition the mulled wine, mince pies and slices of pumpkin pie went down a treat.

Special thanks to Lisa Kaye Broadhead, who led the singing, Alistair Black, Chairman of Victoria Hall, who hosted us. Also Elsbeth MacDonald from the Gratton Trust who master minded the whole event. Lastly thanks must also be given to all the other Gratton Trustees who helped set up and run the event.
