Impromptu Wild Flowers

It is increasingly common to come across card embedded with wild flower seeds. They are increasingly popular in greetings cards. Recently one of the Gratton Trustees received such a card, and so took the opportunity to sew some wild flower seeds.

Carefully choosing a corner of the wild flower bank, the soil was turned over and the card ripped into pieces before being sprinkled over the ground. That done, the area was covered over with soil and given a quick water.

We shall see in the weeks and months to come if seeds take and wild flowers grow 🙂
