Thank you to all the buyers, sellers, charity stall holders, and volunteers who turned up on the Gratton for April’s car boot sale. It was a great success!

The Trust believe it was their biggest car boot sale to date. Certainly the bbq sold out of food (always a tricky one to judge), and parking spread to a second overflow car park.

On this point though I wish to pay particular tribute to the Gratton Trust’s Events Organiser and his team of volunteers. This was by far the ‘smoothest’ car boot sale to date. The car parking strategy was definitely refined and more successful than ever before. Well done team!

Unfortunately I have no photos from the day. I myself was either directing traffic or had a hot dog in one hand and a can of coke in the other, and so had no opportunity to take photos.

Most importantly though the sun shone, and I heard buyers telling me of their bargains, and sellers telling me of their profits; win, win. Perfect.
