It was with great sadness that the Gratton Trust recently learned of the passing of David Small, former Chair of the Gratton Trust.

David Small lived in Wonston for many years, and was always conscious of helping the local community. He was Chair of the Gratton Trust in the early 2000s, and it was under David’s leadership that the children’s play area began to be developed. However, perhaps his most significant achievement was the fundraising and building of the Gratton Pavilion,

The pavilion project was David’s primary focus, and once completed he resigned from the trust.
